Please, everyone DO sign that petition. You don’t even have to be a US resident, because the zip code box is actually optional.

BUT. I would like to point out that saying we “let CAS pass” is misleading. CAS is not a law. It’s something that our ISPs are doing on their own time. It’s a corporate decision, not a legal or congressional one. Also, while CAS is wrong and should not exist, to the best of my knowledge, they’re still mainly targeting uploaders, not downloaders, so all of us  pirates (myself included) scared of getting caught only need to be a little more cautious about seeding, that’s all.

CISPA, however, IS a bill that may become law. And it really needs to die. So not only should you sign this petition, but what would be MORE EFFECTIVE is to CONTACT YOUR CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES DIRECTLY. Do this en masse, and they might just listen. So here you go: contacting your senators and representatives.
