yeah, I try and tell ppl. about those cat keychains all the time, they are garbage, you’re better off w. a kubotan and/or a pocket knife, IF you know what you’re doing with one, but a lot of places ban those/they’re viewed as way more “aggressive,” bc scared women defending themselves are still meant to be a certain nonlethal kind of passive.

Reblogging because I’ve seen this a lot on my dash today with people saying they want this or they bought it. Just don’t, guys, they’re trying to sell self defence products that don’t work and they know they don’t work. What’s going to happen if you really need that stun gun? They don’t care about that, they just want your money. My friend has all three of these and I can tell you the stun gun literally is weaker than a prank buzzer and the cat thing might as well be a child’s toy, they are a joke if you actually need to defend yourself.
