Melissa Hie, known on Instagram as girleatworld, is living the dream (well, my dream at least). Based in Singapore, Hie travels around the world and posts photos of her food in front of picturesque and memorable backdrops. Or in her words, “Stuffing my face around the world.”

When asked about how she started taking her characteristic food photos by Yes, Like The River, she said, “Last summer, I went on a solo backpacking trip to Europe. I didn’t feel like asking strangers to take my picture and I’m not too fond of selfies, but I AM always eating so I took pictures of food at whatever memorable site I was in.”
