What To Do When Faced With Voter Intimidation

konguloarkonan:

Highlights:

  1. CALL 866-OUR-VOTE OR 800-253-3931 TO REPORT VOTER SUPPRESSION OR INTIMIDATION
  2. UNDER FEDERAL LAW, ALL VOTERS WITH LIMITED ENGLISH PROFICIENCY ARE ALLOWED TO OBTAIN ASSISTANCE FROM A PERSON OF THEIR CHOICE AS LONG AS THE PERSON IS NOT AN EMPLOYER, AGENT OF THE EMPLOYER, OR AGENT OF THEIR UNION
  3. POLL MONITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WATCH YOU VOTE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
  4. POLL MONITORS MUST BE CERTIFIED AND YOU MAY ASK FOR CERTIFICATION AT ANY TIME
  5. CAMPAIGNING IS NOT ALLOWED NEAR OR WITHIN A POLLING PLACE
  6. POLICE ARE SUBJECT TO THE SAME VOTER INTIMIDATION LAWS AS EVERYONE ELSE

If you are registered, it is your Constitutional right to vote. ANYONE who says otherwise may safely be reported to the Justice Department. English proficiency is NOT a requirement to vote. Voter fraud is so statistically insignificant as to be nonexistent and there’s no point worrying about accidentally committing voter fraud because it is very difficult. If you are registered, YOU CAN VOTE. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise!
